The Council has recently finalised its Ongoing Competency Model which has been recommended to all Registration Boards in Australia. This Model will be used, upon annual registration renewal, to ensure that occupational therapists are providing quality care through safe, ethical and effective practice, and are maintaining the competence necessary for practice.
